To Do List: Done

Today was my birthday. I

  • felt a little bit older
  • went to the bank to get information for forms to send to Germany
  • sent forms to Germany
  • got lunch with my father
  • presented my thesis to the Slavic Department
  • studied for my German final
  • went to a talk by a Russian author/launch event of the Birch journal
  • chatted with my friends
  • quietly realized the many ways in which I am extraordinarily lucky, and how fortunate I am to have so many thoroughly good people in my life, and
  • had a perfectly lovely day.
